We can't tell you how excited we are to bring Afternoon Enrichment Program to GNS! This is going to be a fantastic school year and we thank our families and community for helping us thrive! Times are changing we realize that our families and many of those in the community need a program that will provide their child with meaningful experiences on a more full-time basis. We have created flexibility with this program to allow parents to choose how long their child stays for the afternoon.

We are offering Afternoon Enrichment again this year at Greenwich Nursery School to our students and preschoolers in the community that are looking to for an afternoon play-based, fun learning experience that bring in concepts beyond the daily preschool schedule.
Participating students will play sports, experiment with STEM activities, learn about artists and the different ways to create art, and/or join our 'Music with Mrs. Maggio' Program. Your student is in for a truly enriching experience provided by our dedicated teaching staff.
We will be bringing in professionals, guests, and volunteers to truly make our afternoons a truly unique and high-quality experience. This is not going to be your typical afterschool care experience.
Students age 3 can join our Music with Mrs. Maggio program on Wednesdays and/or Amazing Athlete program on Thursdays from 12pm-1pm. They are also welcome to stay for play and lunch on Mondays or Wildflower Wellness Nature class on Tuesdays from 12pm-1pm.

Students ages 4-5 can sign up for any of our enrichment sessions. We have broken down the weeks into 5-7 week sessions, so you can change the frequency or the days your student comes as needed throughout the year.
Combine lunch and enrichment together!
Parents provide a nut free lunch.
Drop-in students are welcome for certain lessons (always for play/lunch), but parents must let us know the student is staying that morning.

Mondays: Play/Lunch (3s & 4s) & STEAM Adventures (4s only)
Kids are curious by nature! Let GNS help them explore the world through STEM activities both inside and outside of the classroom.
Tuesdays: Wildflower Wellness (3s and 4s)

Outdoor Nature Class- Children explore nature with Mrs. Shea at the Wildflower Wellness Kid Corral play area. This outdoor class includes hands-on activities that spark curiosity about the natural world, promote physical activity, and encourage teamwork in a fun, engaging setting.
Wednesdays: Music with Mrs. Maggio (3s and 4s) & Explorations in Art (4s only)
Mrs. Maggio will be teaching the 3s and 4s music from 12pm-1pm on Wednesdays. Following that, the 4s take art to the next level! Children will explore new mediums and learn about different techniques and popular artists.

Thursdays: Amazing Athletes (3s and 4s)
A professional coach and our GNS teacher team up to provide your child with an action-packed class that includes motor skills, introduction to different sports, starter nutrition, and body awareness.
